Granted, I came to writing late, but I've never understood why this isn't automatic. If people can't find your fic, they won't read it! That seems so obvious to me! I haven't quite gotten to the master-post point yet, but I've done everything short of it I can think of. I know I hate not knowing where the rest of a story is when I'm a reader; I can't imagine doing that to my own readers.
