I'm not a big fan of roman numerals either. I do agree the more complicated it is the greater the barrier is to the reader.

Now about the 6A and 6B not all authors make sure their post fits in one post so the chapters are sometimes in 3 parts! This is not readily apparently unless the author links to it. Don't get me wrong if everyone did that it would not be needed. But it's preferable to me to have 6A and 6B vs just 6A with no mention it's split into two separate posts.

I haven't thought of a better way for authors to deal with a chapter that got split due to the 10k character limit in LJ and I've given this some thought. I was hoping maybe someone would have a better suggestion on that.

I truly appreciate the effort you put into presenting your stories. :)
