My cats are weird

I swear they have water in the little tank and I refill it like every other day, but do they drink out of there? Sure, but if they had the choice between drinking out of my coffee mug (filled with water) or their cat dish tank that's what they'll do. It's not so bad but when Tiger drinks out of it water goes everywhere! Plus I don't think I'm supposed to drink out of the same cup they've been drinking out of?

Now she's lounging on my laptop. I think they either like the heat or vibrations...Tiger is a huge cat too. I'm just glad I didn't get a male Maine Coon I hear those cats can grow up to 20 pounds.

Ha, we have one of those plug-in electric cat fountains for our 4 cats to drink out of, and still two of our cats insist on drinking out of the bathtub faucet instead; usually Kirara decides she's dying of thirst around 3 am and will tap tap tap imperiously at my shoulder where I'm sleeping in bed till I wake up. If I ignore her she starts giving this abrupt, bossy meow with each tap and will dig her claws in more and MORE into my flesh till I get up. Our dog LOVES drinking out of the cats' fountain, sigh, and won't leave it alone. Out of all 4 cats, only our old cat Tigger loves that cat fountain and he gets so so excited when you occasionally have to add water to it; he watches me pour it in with utter absorption on his face and as I'm almost done he'll LEAP at the fountain and dab his paw into the last dribbles of water I'm adding; never mind that the fountain already has a continous stream of water recycling over and over, ha; he only gets excited about the NEW water I add in. Silly animals. And our two cats Gabs and Itty Bitty LOVE to put their paw into the mug or glass of whatever their human is drinking and help themselves, dabbing in their paw and licking it clean and doing it again, ha.

Yeah, as soon as we catch either of the cats dipping a paw in, it's time to pour that drink out, ha; our evil cat Kirara doesn't drink out of anyone's cup unless there's milk in it, which she is nuts for but I heard cow's milk isn't great for them really so she only gets a taste now and then, ha. But with all other drinks, she just prefers to knock your glass or mug over and watch with great satisfaction as it spills everywhere. She will purposely try her best to knock drinks over, she is one ornery critter. She figured out how to turn certain light switches off and on and if I won't get up and let her out of my room during the night, she will resort to hopping onto my dresser and reaching up to click on the overhead light switch cause she knows that always wakes me and I'll have to get up to turn it back off, since I can't stand to sleep with any lights on. But if I just leave the door open all night, my son's dog tries to come in and cuddle with me and Kirara hates him and has attacked him more than once when he's in my room. She sees it as HER territory; she leaves him alone for the most part in the rest of the house, but she's liable to leap on him and start shredding if he jumps on my bed. He is twice her size and scared to DEATH of her, ha.
