Jan. 4th, 2025 12:46 pmI'm back home and it's great to be home, I missed my cat Tiger and my own bed.
Loved seeing my family, we had a lot of fun overall. Took the kids with my sister and brother-in-law to the indoor climbing gym in Austin multiple times. The kids had a blast. I just hope they build an indoor climbing gym in San Antonio next. Driving in Austin is the worst. I'm just glad my brother-in-law was willing to drive.
We also went to Six Flags in San Antonio and most of the kids had fun. My middle nephew didn't want to ride the roller coaster so we spent a lot of time hanging out with his dad and my husband who also didn't want to ride the roller coasters. Most of the rides were fun but I would never ride the Batman again, it was a little too violent of a ride for me.
We didn't do much the last few days in town because my mom, sister, and nephew got sick with a cold. I caught the cold but didn't really have symptoms until the day we flew back to Alaska. So now I'm home sick. :( Drinking lots of warm tea, had some ramen (it's the only soup in the house) and taking it easy.
I planned to work on my favorite fics of 2024 later this afternoon or tomorrow.
