Amalthia's recs and fan works

I don't have a lot of recs tonight, mostly because I've had this low grade headache most of the day, and I needed a break from the computer monitor for a bit. So I ended up reading most of the evening. For those who are curious I'm reading The Mad Ship by Robin Hobb. :)

Tomorrow my goal is to read the stories I've had in my tabbed browser for the last two weeks instead of immediately reading the new ones right away.

Hurt by ismenetruth I think I can really love this challenge at sga_flashfic if more stories like this are written. I'm not sure what all happened but I just loved the imagery and what happens. It's dark...so please don't wonder in expecting puppies and kittens frolicking together.

Here's A Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares) by minervacat This is pretty much a sex in a car fic and it's not just the sex part that I liked, but the character voices, the descriptions, the sense of anticipation. good stuff here. :)
