Amalthia's recs and fan works

I forgot to pay the rent, so now I owe another 100 dollars. :( I don't get why the apartment can't send out rent bills, just like the electric company, the phone company, and every other damn company on the planet where you owe bills to. And they expect the rent only one day a month, you can't pay early and being late is bad too. Are all apartments like this???? Right now it's really striking me as odd that they don't send out a rent statement saying when the rent is due, with a nifty little envelope for you to mail your rent in.

I just can't believe I forgot, normally I'm really good at remembering but I guess I was kind of wrapped up worrying about the voting stuff it slipped my mind. :(

ETA: Just got back from paying the bill. Feeling kind of depressed. The lady said they are working on setting up some sort of automatic debiting account, which I would greatly appreciate because honestly I can remember to pay bills when I have the bill in front of me. But I have a feeling I might forget to pay the rent again unless I have some extra help. I mean this isn't the first time I forgot, it's just the other times I remembered to pay the bill in time, mostly because someone pointed out the date and I was like 'oh yeah, rent is due' anyway this really really sucks and I feel kind of wretched at the moment. :( 100 dollars. ouch.

I got my email and I'm so glad I don't have to write a fluffy bunny story. :) Okay need to get started. :)

Okay I never would have thought I'd be recommending a story in this fandom. I didn't even know it was a fandom until I found the story on Maygra's Musings website. But after spending lots of hours reading instead of writing for Nano, I'd better add it to my recs because wow this story was good on so many levels and satisfying.

Unfinished Business I'm not great at describing why stories are good, but for this one I'd have to say it was the characters, the plot, how everything just comes together. It doesn't hurt that the guys are hot too. :)
