amalthia: (Inara2)
Diablerie (Triptych remix) by Rachael Sabotini I think besides Triptych the only online threesome with John/Rodney/Elizabeth....at least the only ones i've found.

I know I've already reced the story this remixes but here's the link for the people that don't want to go searching through all my sga recs. :)

Triptych by [livejournal.com profile] alyse

another [livejournal.com profile] sga_remix that I loved is Seeing Heightmeyer

the remix for Zoe Rayne's wonderful story Latency

Manifest: Latency Remix Very very well done story, I'm still in awe. I can't believe how well all these remix stories turned out.

anyway for those who want to read more remix stories, head on over to [livejournal.com profile] sga_remix and check them out. There was a cute remix of We Invented the Internet: Email and a few others that were pretty good too. :) I'm still reading through the challenges myself so there may be more recs later.
amalthia: (farscape)
I just realized last night when I was talking with one of my friends on IM that I'm an anime snob. In the sense that I refuse to watch dubbed anime, feel sorry for the unfortunate people who can only watch anime dubbed, and though I know there are people out there that have watched more anime than me, I feel that the list is very small. Not sure what that says about my character that I think I know what the best animes are and don't quite understand how Dragonball Z is way more popular than the Vision of Escaflowne or Berserk....but anyway I'm not sure snobbish about anime is a really really lame or not. Because anime for some reason has become a bit more mainstream. I'm amazed at the amount that is now available via cartoon network.

But anyway, subtitled anime is superior to dubs, nothing on earth is going to make me change my mind on that one, and the soundtracks for anime are really better in their original format. Anyone here, heard the english version of the opening theme to Magic Knights Rayearth??? Ouch.

So for the people who aren't giving Full Metal Alchemist a fair shot as a show because they've only seen the dubbed version, go to torrentspy and download the subtitled version. Same with Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and every other anime on cartoon network.

I pick Full Metal Alchemist because I'm currently watching the show and I can't watch the next episode until my husband gets back from the Gulf Coast...sure I could watch without him but not sure if I want to watch the episodes twice so soon. Anyway, love the Elric brothers and the story so far.

okay need to search for some anime soundtrack music for a friend. :)

edited: WTF is with adultswim? I heard they showed the Escflowne movie, why the hell aren't they showing the series instead???
