amalthiaThe episode of SGA I really really want to see is The Long Goodbye. I read the Gateworld spoilers and they don't say much but what they do hint at makes me want to watch the episode even more. the summary alone "Alien combatants look to settle an ancient score by using Weir and Sheppard as pawns." makes me want to watch this episode. I'm having a hard time imagining Weir outwitting Sheppard...but hey it can happen!
Oh wait... just found some more spoilers....from New Atlantis; they have a different summary.
"Sheppard and Weir become a threat to Atlantis when their minds are taken over by a pair of hostile aliens. "
I kind of figured it would be some kind of body snatcher episode once I saw the picture of the pod person. Though I thought it would only be Sheppard that got taken over and somehow Weir got tapped for the job of stopping him? I guess it makes sense that Weir would go after Sheppard if she was also taken over by the alien. I just look forward to seeing Sheppard as the bad guy, though I guess they could twist things around and make it so that Weir is hosting the bad guy alien instead. Or maybe both are bad guys with a grudge against each other? who knows? but I look forward to finding out. :)
Some speculation...I think this is the episode where Sheppard and Weir kiss...except it won't really be them kissing I think. :(
final thoughts, after this episode airs I don't think I'll have any more episodes to be excited about seeing. The Tower and Michael look boring, Coup d'etat has potential. I have no clue what Inferno is about and am not really interested, Allies....yawn yawn yawn...the title alone makes me feel bored.
Also, I just wish SGA would stop half assing the relationship stuff...either go there or stop teasing us with fake kisses. For once I'd just like to see two characters kiss because they are attracted to each other, not because of bug conversion, body snatching, or whatever other excuses they'll come up to have the characters lock lips.
edit: HURRAY !!!! I only have to wait until January 2nd to see the Long Goodbye. :) I'm glad the Movie Network isn't following the Gateworld schedule. :)
